Even if it relied on the OS for a greater chunk of the implementation, language support for concurrency is a must. jealous -- sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, it seems that the government has no interest in programming in any other language... I don't remember the last job ad I saw for this area that wasn't J2EE or something.
